Digital Literacy
Digital literacy is the "ability to find, evaluate, utilize, share, and create content using information technologies and the Internet." (Cornell) In today's society being able to make use of technology is increasingly important. 96% of working Americans use new communications technology at some time during their day. Computer skills are a must in almost every career field and some employers make all of their employment applications available exclusively online. In turn, making the most essential tasks, such as finding a job, very difficult without basic computer literacy.
